Free State Project
20,000 libertarians moving to New Hampshire for liberty in our lifetime
Active since 2001
About
The Free State Project is a political migration movement founded in 2001 by Jason Sorens to recruit libertarians to move to New Hampshire. By concentrating liberty-minded individuals in one low-population state, the movement aims to create a stronghold for libertarian ideas. Over 6,000 'Free Staters' have already moved, with many elected to the 400-member NH House of Representatives.
